At On the Pulse Health, I offer warm, trauma-aware Recovery Grief Coaching for individuals and families navigating life after a major health event or diagnosis.  Whether you're adjusting to an ICD, recovering after an ICU stay, or living with grief - you don't have to go through it alone.  

Through a combination of lived experience, research-informed coaching strategies, and compassionate support, I walk alongside you as you rebuild strength, purpose, and hope - one step at a time.

My Recovery Grief Coaching services are designed to work alongside the guidance you receive from your medical team, as part of your wider wrap-around support.  Coaching is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or therapeutic care - but it gives you the practical support and encouragement to put professional advice into practice in your daily life. 

As your coach, I help integrate professional medical guidance into daily life routines - supporting you to put guidance into practice in ways that fit your life and values.  Together, these supports can align to help you move forward with confidence, while you remain at the centre, choosing the steps that feel right for you.

What happens in the first session?

In our first session, I'll work with you to create a safe and supportive environment where you can share your concerns, challenges, and goals. I'll listen to your story, ask questions, and help you gain insight into your situation. I may use a variety of techniques, such as mindfulness exercises or cognitive-behavioral therapy, to help you identify negative patterns and develop coping strategies. Together, we'll create a plan of action to achieve your goals.

Your investment in coaching?

Everyone's journey is different.  The cost of coaching depends on the type of support that's right for you.  I offer a range of packages and sessions, so you can choose the level of support that meets you where you are.  Contact me directly for more information on pricing, and to explore your options - whether you'd like 1:1 coaching, family sessions, or group support.

Do I join online or in person?

I offer coaching primarily online, so you can join sessions from anywhere that suits you.  Online sessions are conducted via secure video conferencing and provide the convenience of meeting from the comfort of your own space.  For clients who live nearby, there may also be opportunities to connect in person - for example, through a walking coaching session once we've built a relationship.
